Siblings are the unheard voice when they have a brother or sister with an eating disorder. They stay silent, afraid to cause any further upset in the family when they, in fact, may be suffering with their own feelings of guilt, anger and frustration.
A sister, whose brother is suffering with an eating disorder, has reached out to help those like herself. The siblings have begun to meet at the same time/location as the family/friends group. We are hoping this continues. It is so important they have a safe place to talk with others who understand.
